Queensland Roar FC v SuperSport United
The Queensland Roar took out the TransLink Roar Against Racism Cup on 1 July when they defeated SuperSport United 4-1 at Suncorp Stadium
The match was an exciting display of football with goals scored by Roar's Tahj Minniecon, Simon Lynch , a double for Reinaldo and one for SuperSport United’s Katlego Mashego.
The Queensland Roar FC showcased their newest signings in the friendly match with Tahj Minniecon and Danny Tiatto making their debut and proved they are ready to blast into the new season with the win.
SuperSport United FC have been consistent performers in the South African Premier Soccer League and in only their second year of inception took out the Bob Save Superbowl. While the name SuperSport United came into play in 1997, the club has a rich and long history, previously known as Pretoria City.
They are one of the prominent teams within South Africa and it's going to be a fantastic guide for Queensland Roar FC into international football at club level.
