Multicultural Summit 2005
Introduction
The Multicultural Summit was organised by Multicultural Affairs Queensland, Department of the Premier and Cabinet and aimed to progress multiculturalism by facilitating collaboration and partnerships between government, community groups, religious groups, the tertiary sector and other stakeholders.
The Summit:
- explored different views of multiculturalism
- examined good practice in the field, collaboration and partnerships
- examined ways of building of the capacity of community organisations
- discussed the challenges of progressing multiculturalism and future directions.
